Bars - stock display
“The bottles get so hot that we fear that the ABV stated cannot
possibly be accurate,” observed a manager recently.
No 20, a new bar in Penryn High Street, Cornwall, recognised this danger
and Greenled have found them an answer which costs so little to run and which
projects no heat onto the bottles using their 3 watt “Atria” lamps. “This
is not really about energy saving, although that is a benefit,” said
owner Tim Hartgill. “The real strengths are the bottles are lit so sympathetically
and the liquor is kept at a healthy temperature.”

Wine
display
Bustophers, a thriving restaurant/café in Truro, Cornwall, chose the Greenled “Asterope” to
show off the tempting wines in their elegant cabinets. Edged around the display,
the “Asterope” projects a most sympathetic light which shines through
the wine and, although only inches away, it emanates no heat to spoil the contents.
Tom Hancock, Bustopher’s owner is delighted. “This light is excellent – the
wine looks so enticing, it protects the wine and uses such little energy.” |
