Better Light

THE VISION: how might a work space look today fitted with the right LED solution?
- Fewer replacements: less disruption and reduced maintenance costs
- Smoother light: fewer hot-spots, less black burn marks on the ceiling, consistent light levels, no flickering fluorescents
- Less cost: electricity use is reduced by between 60 – 90%
- More consistency: the original lighting design is not disrupted by fading, blown or replacement lights
- Less waste: hardly any throw-aways, no toxic materials to handle, with the increasing potential of only the LED chip needing to be replaced every ten years

THE LIGHT: what can realistically be lit with LEDs today ?
- LEDs are best used for two main purposes: spotlighting and general illumination
- Within each category there are LED lamps or luminaires
- Greenled’s LED lamps are highly efficient, fit into existing fittings and are ideal for spotlight, accent light and limited general illumination tasks
- Greenled’s LED luminaires offer higher levels of efficiency and brightness, have a longer rated life and provide exceptional general illuminance
- Greenled will assist in the planning, design and installation processes
- Our LED luminaires exceed minimum performance criteria: 40 lm/W, 80 Ra, L70 35,000 hrs, recommended lux levels

THE FEATURES: what are the features of LED lighting to be aware of ?
- High quality LED technology allows specific areas and whole spaces to be lit extremely effectively at a very low running cost
- The most valuable features of LEDs are: lower energy demands, longer lifetimes, minimal heat and consistent light output
- It is not easy to differentiate between LED products – many look the same and many make undeliverable claims
- It is easy to select LEDs based on wattage and price. This can be very misleading. For best results, LEDs should be assessed on light output, performance and payback
- Greenled’s aim is to ensure that you install the right LED for each task to maximise efficiency and minimise cost
