Hall for Cornwall Blunsdon House Hotel, Swindon - A Premier Best Western Hotel
Frustrated at the energy costs eating into their bottom line, Facilities Manager, Steve Day, at 116-bedroom Blunsdon House asked Greenled to replace the 50 watt halogen downlighters on one whole floor. As well as the bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms which obviously use less energy, the corridors and reception area have lights on for at least 18 hours day in this luxurious Premier hotel...

Scandic Hotel

Scandic Hotels, Oslo & Stockholm
Scandic Hotels are dedicated to achieving energy efficiency whilst improving the ambience of the hotel.

Drama -Wanting a  dramatic and contemporary effect using minimal energy at the new Scandic Crown hotel in Stockholm, renowned designer Geir Ove of Oslolysdesign turned to Greenled’s 7 watt “Fornax” spotlight and “Zeta” 3 watt downlighter. The results are striking and use less than 10% of the energy that the historic technology would have used.

Piccadilly Backpackers

Hotel reception– energy savings Four stories above Piccadilly Circus, Piccadilly Backpackers runs a 700 bed hostel. Keen to keep all overheads to a minimum the company has long espoused LED solutions, but have been really unhappy with the light output. Replacing these with Greenled’s 5 watt “Antares” has been an outstanding success. “I simply cannot believe the difference between theLEDs we had and the new “Antares” light.” Andy Willday the Facility Manager raved, “truly the lighting of the future”.
